Battle of the game shows: Can Nine and 10 steal share from Seven with new shows?

Love them or not, Australian television has seen its fair share of the humble gameshow over the years. Entering the mix in 2024 is Nine‘s Tipping Point and the return of Deal or No Deal on Network 10.

Our Offline Investment Director, Michelle Hartley, chatted with Alisha Buaya at Mediaweek Australia about the relevance of gameshows as linear TV continues to decline, explaining games shows as “extremely efficient from a CPM perspective amongst a number of demographic groups and are a ‘safe’ buy in a volatile and declining FTA market.”
